Can I use AI to help prepare an expert report?
Yes, with care. Under Federal Rule 26(a)(2)(B) the report must be prepared and signed by you, and you’re responsible for every statement in it, whatever tool helped. Courts have already signaled out expert declarations that contained AI-invented citations. That’s why it’s critical to use AI where you can check its work against the record, verify every fact and citation, and be ready to explain how the report was prepared. Can I use my own expert witness report template?

What records can Newcase read?
Pleadings, deposition transcripts, medical records (including handwritten notes), and technical documents. Entries it isn’t sure about are flagged for your review instead of silently ignored.
